People perceive your ignorance as part of the problem, and self-improvement is seen as futile in this environment. Political factions, organizations, and communities often operate like the most toxic sports fans. Commentators and fans engage in constant speculation and commentary, mirroring the atmosphere of a sporting event. This toxic behavior extends to the broader political spectrum, influencing the lives of millions. The constant media sensation and the fight for perceived control create a toxic environment that many high-IQ individuals find difficult to navigate.

Given these challenges, it's no surprise that many individuals with high IQs find politics less appealing. However, it's important to note that political interest varies widely among people of all intelligence levels, and some individuals can still find a sense of fulfillment in political engagement.
